Who I Am
Born and raised in Kalispell, MT, I attended public schools and received a quality education. I often walked or biked to school and knew my neighbors. This well-rounded and solid foundation set me up for success. I want the same opportunities for all Missoula kids. I’ve called Missoula home for 27 years and there is no place I’d rather be working, recreating, learning and connecting with people.
It has been an honor and pleasure to serve as your Mayor since being elected in November 2023. But the job is just beginning, as this shortened first term ends. I am now running for a full, four-year term and I hope to earn your trust and your vote on November 4, 2025.
What was before public office?
22 years in the Housing and Community Development sector creating homes people can afford to rent and buy.
15 years as Executive Director of Homeword, a Missoula-based nonprofit that has built or restored more than 1350 homes statewide and empowered 20,000 people with homebuyer and financial skills.
Leadership on Boards for Mountain Line, the Missoula Economic Partnership, NeighborWorks Montana, Clark Fork Commons Community Land Trust, Montana Nonprofit Association and the Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
In almost all, I’ve been asked to step up to leadership on those Boards. It’s always an honor to have the respect and recognition of my colleagues to be called to lead. It is something I never take lightly. It is part of the reason why I chose to step up, run and serve as mayor. Having the faith and confidence of people in this community is a humbling experience. I have a fire in me that calls me to help and serve others, and it would be an absolute privilege to serve the people of Missoula for the next 4-years as your mayor!
